Kate Sullivan

Kate Sullivan has 18 years of experience in public relations, marketing and communications. She successfully ran a boutique public relations firm in New York City for seven years before moving to New Hampshire. Her strong marketing and media relations skills were evident when she joined Intown Concord to promote and enhance the business environment, cultural activities, housing, and appearance of historic downtown Concord, New Hampshire. Kate was instrumental in raising the profile of Intown Concord using social media and unique marketing strategies.
Kate graduated from the University of Denver in 2000 with a degree in mass communications and began her career as a field producer for HGTV and The Food Network. Prior to joining the White Birch team, Kate served as the Marketing and Communications Director at the Duprey Companies.
In 2020, Kate signed on at Host of New Hampshire Life with White Birch Communications as Co-Producer with Maine Life Media. NH Life airs on NESN every Sunday at 8:30am with full episodes available on YouTube.
Jim Monahan
Jim Monahan has a strong and established public affairs practice which advocates for businesses, trade associations and non-profit organizations. This work includes an emphasis on policy development, legislative advocacy and effective communications.
Jim’s professional focus includes energy, transportation, local government and environmental issues. In addition, he is a leader in the health care field, with an emphasis on Medicaid policy.
In recent years Jim has been the public policy architect of a number of major legislative and regulatory initiatives including environmental and energy campaigns, as well as projects in the Medicaid and behavioral health arenas. Jim founded White Birch Communications as a complement to The Dupont Group’s Government Affairs work and has overseen the firm’s growth into a full service Communications company.
Jim currently, he serves on the Concord, NH Zoning Board of Adjustment. He graduated from Rhode Island College with a degree in Political Science and History, where he was active in student government and was captain of the College Debate Team competing in world and national tournaments.
Jim is a 4-time Ironman (140.2) finisher, is currently on the Board of Directors and has served as President of the Granite State Racing Team and is a co-founder of the Granite State Endurance Project.
