JOB DESCRIPTION: White Birch Communications is looking for a skilled Public Relations and Communications Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in writing, social media management, and public relations activities. The candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our clients communications strategy, enhancing our brand image, and building positive relationships with key stakeholders.

ADDITIONAL HELPFUL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Our ideal candidate will have bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

• Proven experience in public relations and communications, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.

• Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in PR and communications.

• Experience with creating email campaigns and familiarity with graphic design programs such as Adobe or Canva.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Develop and execute comprehensive PR and marketing strategies for a portfolio of clients, aligning with their business objectives and target audience.

• Craft compelling press releases, media pitches, and other written materials to effectively communicate client stories and messages.

• Spearhead social media strategy, creating and managing content across various platforms to enhance client visibility and engagement.

• Foster and nurture client relationships, sometimes serving as the main point of contact and providing regular updates on campaign progress and results.

• Monitor and analyze media coverage and social media interactions, providing insights and recommendations for optimizing campaigns.

• Assist in the planning and execution of events, product launches, and promotional activities to enhance client brand presence.
